Friday night Yoga Unwind with Gill is like giving myself a great big hug. It restores my energy and soothes my mind. It’s the perfect way to unwind after the week combining gentle yoga and restorative postures. I’ve been attending for over a year now and I can’t imagine Friday nights without it. One of the best Yoga classes I have ever attended.

Gill creates an amazing atmosphere, in her Friday unwind class, that is very welcoming and encouraging to all. The balance of poses at the start of the class, against the restorative poses at the end, allows your mind to focus, truly settle and unwind from the week. I always leave the class feeling calmer and more balanced. If you are new to yoga, thinking about trying it for the first time, or looking to gain some peace in your life, then I would highly recommend taking a class with Gill. If nothing else, you will leave feeling relaxed and restored for the week ahead.

I have been doing yoga with Gill for nearly 18 months now and really look forward to my Friday night relax and unwind class. I really love how Gill sets up the studio before we arrive with candles and oils burning so all we have to do is choose which mat to melt into.
Gill stretches us a little bit further each week but still allows plenty of time for relaxation at the end. After a long week I find I have more energy after the class and am ready for the weekend.

I attend Gills Friday Yoga Unwind class and it's superb. It's the highlight of my week! It's hard sometimes to get motivated when you sign up to attend a Friday night class but I find with Gills class I really miss out if I don't get to attend. Gills cheery disposition, patient, soothing and relaxing voice is just the tonic to get you on the road to de stress after a hectic week and set you up for the weekend and the week ahead. It's truly better than any massage that you can get... the talent that she has, without ever having to lay a finger on you. Cannot recommend her enough!

I have been practicing with Gill for the best part of a year now and can honestly say it’s one of the highlights of my week . I had zero experience before I walked in through the doors at yoga essence but loved it straight off the bat. Gill has a lovely relaxed manner and is very patient and friendly and if you are unlucky enough to miss one of her classes in the term, the good thing is you can make it up in one of the other many classes that take place in the studio, provided there is room of course. Classes are for male and female, big and small , young and old ,and any level of fitness so all you have to do is be kind to yourself and treat yourself to a class and the rest will surely follow.

Gill's Good2Glow hatha and restorative yoga class is a really effective and enjoyable way to unwind and to leave the stresses of the day behind. Gill is an amazingly warm and friendly teacher and tailors the class for all levels and abilities. She has created a really open, supportive environment that makes me feel extremely comfortable and happy to be there! The highlight for me is, without a doubt, the long restorative postures you relax into at the end of the class - it's a new realm of relaxation! I would recommend Gill's restorative yoga to anyone who wants to do something good for themselves, no matter if you are a complete beginner or an experienced yogi.

When it comes to looking after my emotional well-being, signing up to wellness coaching with Gill was one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I got so much more out of it than I ever expected. Gill helped me to take back control of areas of my life such as my diet and fitness habits, and how to manage the self-sabotaging thoughts that often have a negative effect on my good intentions. She also taught me tips and techniques to deal with difficult people and situations at work. I now feel so much calmer and more in control of myself and my environment. We have enjoyed Friday night unwind yoga immensely.It is a lovely way to finish a week and begin the weekend.It is a great way to let go of the week's stresses and tension.The class suits all levels .Gill is a lovely friendly teacher who makes sure you get the most out of the class no matter what your ability.We look forward to Friday evenings

Gill always creates a very welcoming and open atmosphere in her Friday night restorative yoga class. She focuses on each person in the class to ensure we are all getting the most out of each of the poses. I always leave the class feeling more relaxed and de-stressed, looking forward to the next class. Gill is an excellent teacher, instilling a love of yoga in her students with her skill and passion.
